Chapter 8 - Refill With Joy
When you get weak, weary, and discouraged, it takes a spiritual person to say, “You know what? I am going to turn off the TV, take the phone of the hook, close the door, and pull down the blinds. I have absolutely no reason to be happy, but I am going to lift up my hands and start jumping and praising God. I rejoice because I have to in order to lice.” Listen! No matter how bad the new is when you get home, it will not make you stop breathing. I do not care what you are told, it will not make you stop breathing. Why? Because you have to breathe to live. So no matter how bad the news is, nothing should be able to keep you from rejoicing because that is what you have to do to live in the Spirit. It’s called the tone of victory.
The second instruction First Peter gives to receiving the end of your faith is “the genuiness of your faith must be revealed.” In other words, if you are going to receive the end of your faith, you have to walk in genuine faith – not television faith, not tape series faith – but Bible Faith. God says you have to rejoice and make sure that your faith is genuine, not just believing. It must be actual faith, which means it is not only believing but also being spoken, declared, and acted upon.
God says if you will do that, you are right now receiving the end of your faith, and once you break the tape at the finish line the manifestation will surely follow without your effort or having to figure it out. This is what the Bible means in First John 5:4 where it says, “And this is the victory that has overcomethe world – our faith.” Faith is not when you get what you are believing for; faith is when you get to the place that nothing in this three-dimensional world changes what you do. God says that that is when you have the victory for real. Once you walk in that dimension – and I am a witness – it is amazing the things that God will pour into your life. Before you have time to pray for thing that you didn’t even think you needs, He is already sending them your way. You must say, “I am receiving the end of my faith. I am not moved by what I see or do not see. My heart is established. My mind is set. I am trusting in the Lord and walking by faith.”
