The father is saying that the whole objective of “walking by faith and not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7), speaking God’s Word in the present tense, and saying you have it even when you do not see it, is to receive the end of your faith. And the end of your fait is getting into the zone where your mind, will and emotions no longer dictate what you believe or do. But if God says it, then it is so.
Receiving the end of your faith – the salvation and deliverance of your soul – is being tapped into the realm which will be a reality in heaven – where your mind, will and emotions are beyond the grasp of natural, temporal circumstance. God says that that is what happens when you walk by faith which is why people do not understand you, calls you crazy, and say you have lost your mind. They see that there is no sign of healing, but you are saying you are healed and they are wondering how this can be. What they do not understand is that you are beyond the realm that the fact your body is unwell, dictates to you that you could not have it.
Why is this important? Because when people get to the realm where they receive the end of their faith, what they see or do not see does not change their covenant performance. For three years, the church that I oversee has been waiting by faith and believing God (for something specific). A lot of people have become impatient because they never believed that it would take this long; and because they did not see anything instantly, they went somewhere where it was easier. These people were moved by what they did not see; and because it did not come to pass when they thought it should have, they jumped ship. That will happen sometimes with saints. See, when you receive the end of your faith, what happens or does not happen does not change your covenant performance. Whether it happens in a day or six months you keep on praising, serving, rejoicing and giving. When one receives the end of their faith, their souls gets beyond what they see or do not see. So you say, “Well, how do I do that?” Here are the instructions.
Remember First Peter 1:6, “In this your greatly rejoice….” How do you receive the end of your faith? Number one: You begin to greatly rejoice. The Spirit of the Lord said to me, “If you are ever going to receive the end of your faith, command this people to rejoice greatly,” which means boisterously, exuberantly and consistently. Now hear this, child of God – rejoicing is different from praise. Praise is for something: Praise God for His mighty acts and His excellent greatness. Rejoicing can only be done by the spiritually mature because rejoicing is not for anything in the physical temporal realm. To rejoice means to re-fill with joy. “The joy of the Lord is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10). Rejoicing is not just for anything or anyone – the child of God who makes up his mind to rejoice does so because he understands that that is the ways he stays strong! It is a decision.
